The salad or the soup? Simply gazpacho!

Gazpacho is a spanish traditional „something“ between soup and salad. Serve it chilled, it is really refreshing during summer days. It comes from Andalusia and almost every Spanish family has its own unique recipe (the only real one) 🙂 . Here is our version of gazpacho. Try it and improve it if you want. Maybe you create your own family recipe.



  • 8-10 peeled and chopped tomatoes
  • 1 chopped green pepper
  • 1 chopped cucumber
  • 1 chopped onion
  • pieces of bread
  • 3 cups of water
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 3 tbs of wine vinegar
  • 3 tbs of olive oil
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)

Steps: Mix all vegetables and bread in a big bowl. Pour it with water and add pressed garlic, vinegear, pepper and salt. Blend it all together and than mix it with an olive oil. Cover the bowl and let it rest in a fridge for 2-3 hours. Before serving decorate it with some vegetables.
