Chicken Satay & Gado Gado with Peanut Sauce

- Chicken breasts
- Ketchup manis
Steps: Cut the chicken breasts into a cubes and marinate for a 10 minutes. For marinade use ketchup manis and melted butter. Skewered the meat on sticks and grill. Serve it with a peanut sauce.
- 100 gms of chopped green teat beans
- 100 gms of Chinese cabbage
- 100 gms of Choy Sum vegetable
- 150 gms of mung sprouts
- 100 gms of tempeh
Steps: Boil the beans, cabbage and Choy Sum vegetable in a water or on a steam. Don’t leave it there for too long, all vegetable has to stay crunchy. Mix it together with mung sprouts and roasted tempeh. Pour peanut sauce over the mixture and mix it up.
- 1 tbsp of oil
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 smaller red onion
- 1 chilly (or chilly sauce) not necessary to add
- ½ cup of peanut butter
- 1 cup of coconut milk
- 2 ½ tbsp of ketchup manis (thick sweet soya sauce)
- ½ tbsp of soya sauce
- ½ tsp of salt
- ½ cup of roasted non salted peanuts
- 1-2 tbsp of lime juice
Steps: Heat an oil on a frying pan, add crushed garlic, chopped onion and chilly. Saute the mixture until the onion is done. Reduce a temperature of a heat and add peanut butter, coconut milk, ketchup manis and soya sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes and mix it time to time. After add peanuts and lime juice and simmer it another 2-3 minutes. Turn a heat off and cool the mixture a little bit. Blend it until the sauce is smooth.
